Candidates who submit a completed ASGE membership application along with an application fee and dues payment are eligible for member benefits under the Provisional Â鶹´«Ã½ÊÓƵ program.
The membership review process takes approximately three to five weeks. While awaiting a final decision from the Board, candidates may enjoy the following benefits as a Provisional member:
- Subscription to GIE: Gastrointestinal Endoscopy® and SCOPE
- Access to the member's only sections of the ASGE website
- Member rate on courses (including member rate on DDW®)
- Member rate on products
Once the candidate receives final approval from the Board, membership status will be upgraded to full membership and notification will be received by an e-welcome packet. If for some reason the candidate is not approved, member benefits will cease, and dues will be refunded (prorated).
